WP 1: Isolation, identification and selection of bioactive feed resources

The objective of WP1 is to isolate and identify a number of probiotic bacteria and waste/by-product plant recourses rich in PMS that can potentially be used to control economically important intestinal pathogens (bacteria, parasites) in small ruminant production, without any untoward effects on animal well-being.
