Dr. Alexandros Stefanakis

Veterinarian and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), specialized in reproduction pathology, farm animals’ management and diseases prevention as well as in food quality/safety assurance. He is the President of the Board of the SME Bioresearch Laboratories SA in Crete and has established and inspects HACCP based QA systems in a wide range of agro-food industries. He also provides management support for numerous farms and animal feed companies throughout Crete. Moreover, he is an official trainer on food safety issues of the Greek Ministry of Agriculture. Dr Stefanakis has authored more than 50 scientific papers in both Greek or International journals and more than 100 abstracts in scientific conferences.
