He has conducted research in Veterinary Parasitology/Helminthology in small ruminants for more than 30 years with ~ 180 publications in international scientific journals of Parasitology or Veterinary Sciences, book chapters and 30 R&D articles to disseminating results towards the end-users. For the last 20 years, his main field of research has focused on the alternatives to commercial anthelmintic drugs to control GINs in sheep and goats, by exploring the concept of nutraceuticals use based on the model of tannin containing resources. Dr. Hoste has been involved in the organization of the scientific committees of several conferences concerning the control of nematodes in small ruminants.
